ABOUT US
Pacific Theatre Ballet is a ballet company that features the talents and performances of pre-professional ballerinas. All roles in this company are danced by qualified, well-trained classical dancers. Ballet is a performance art and the dancers of our community need an outlet for performance and to hone their skills as performers. Pacific Theatre Ballet also serves the Orange County community by offering high quality performances to the public at convenient locations and at an affordable price.

Pacific Theatre Ballet was founded by Ann-Marie McClellan in cooperation with Maryann Bayless, Artistic Director of Pacific Ballet Conservatory. PTB offers the opportunity for dancers to audition for, and participate in an annual performance of The Nutcracker Suite: Clara's Dream.
Ann-Marie McClellan has taught ballet, tap and jazz dance techniques in the Saddleback Valley for 33 years. She received her BA and MFA Degrees from the University of California, Irvine and was the inaugural winner of the Leo Freedman Fellowship for excellence in the arts in Orange County. Ann-Marie has been an associate professor of dance at Saddleback College, an instructor of ballet at UCIrvine, and is currently the director of the dance department at JSerra Catholic High School. She is also the director of the resident ballet company of PBC, Pacific Theatre Ballet. She has appeared in many musicals including The Magic Flute, On the Town, and Follies choreographed by famed Fosse dance director Chet Walker. She was featured by Donald McKayle in his premiere cast of Ringalevio and has appeared with San Francisco Ballet, Ballet Pacifica, Coast Ballet Theatre and the Golden State Ballet (artistic director 1996-98). Her students have continued their professional training with American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet. Ann-Marie’s focus in her teaching is to make even the youngest dancer look and feel like a professional ballerina.
